New Delhi. A shocking news has come out from the Kannada film industry. Police have arrested a total of 11 people, including Kannada actress Aishwarya, in the case of alleged kidnapping, assault and extortion of film director Anish. This action has been taken on the basis of the case registered at Adugodi Police Station, Bengaluru. A case has been registered against the accused under serious sections like kidnapping, assault, robbery and extortion. The incident has created a stir in the film world.
Who is director Anish?
According to media reports, Anish is a director associated with the Kannada film industry and also operates a modeling and casting agency. It is being told that he was directing a film named ‘Jeevanada Bhasha’. On February 9, he was in Bengaluru, from where this whole incident started.
Called on the pretext of selling car, then attacked
According to the report, Anish was told that a person was interested in buying his car. On this pretext he was called to a place away from the city. As soon as he reached there, some people allegedly took him hostage and beat him brutally. It is alleged that the attackers pressured him to withdraw the complaint filed in an old finance dispute. This dispute is said to be related to film investment.
The accused allegedly snatched Aneesh’s gold jewelery and forcibly withdrew money from the ATM. He was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries.
Old acquaintance and money dispute
Investigation revealed that this matter may be related to an economic transaction of the year 2024. According to the complaint, Aneesh was identified by a person named Aashi alias Ashirwad, who had borrowed Rs 2.5 lakh from him. When Anish asked for the money back, he was allegedly threatened. The matter had reached the police and rivalry is believed to be the reason for the incident.
How did Aishwarya’s entry happen?
According to the police, when Anish wanted to sell his car, he came in contact with actress Aishwarya. Aishwarya allegedly introduced a person named Shahid as a buyer. On February 8, Aneesh reached Bengaluru, where he was told to collect Rs 1.5 lakh from Shahid’s brother’s house. It is alleged that as soon as he reached inside the house, the door was closed and then he was attacked.
At present the police is interrogating all the accused and a thorough investigation of the case is going on.
