According to news agency Reuters, Shiny Hunters has claimed to have stolen data related to the activities of Pornhub Premium users. The hacker group says that if their demands are not met, this data will be released online. Hackers have claimed that they have about 94GB of data of users connected to Pornhub Premium, which includes more than 201 million different records.

The report further said that the hackers have shared some sample data with media organizations to prove their claim true, which was found to be true in the investigation. This data is related to three people from Canada and America, who have confirmed it to be correct. These records include information related to their email address, location, keywords searched, URLS of the videos viewed, and time of watching the video.

According to cyber experts, such data leakage would be a serious threat to the users. Making personal activities related to adult websites public can have a negative impact on people’s image, personal life and mental health. At present, it is not yet clear how old the data is in the hands of hackers and when it was stolen. The website has also not confirmed this.
