Film director Imtiaz Ali has received huge appreciation for his films like ‘Rockstar’, ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Tamasha’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and ‘Laila Majnu’. People often ask him about the sequels of these films. Although the director made a sequel to ‘Love Aaj Kal’, it was not a success at the box office. Now, he has given a big reveal about the sequels of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Jab We Met’ and Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Tamasha’.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Imtiaz spoke candidly about the sequels of these films. He said, “People often ask me about sequels, so I tell them that I made a sequel to ‘Love Aaj Kal’, but it didn’t work. Sequels don’t always bring love and success.
