Serhou Guirassy’s summer release clause reportedly lower than previously estimated

It’s no secret that Serhou Guirassy’s contract with Borussia Dortmund includes a release clause that can be activated by a select group of top clubs.

Previously, reports suggested the clause was set at €50 million, but Bild now claims it is significantly lower – just €35 million.

The German tabloid also notes that the clause can only be triggered in the latter part of the summer. Until then, Dortmund are free to negotiate the transfer fee with interested clubs.

Recently, Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan and teams from Saudi Arabia have been linked with the striker.

Interestingly, none of these clubs are reportedly among those able to activate the release clause.
