Yogi government ready to deal with terrorist attacks in Mahakumbh, made such a security plan

Mahakumbh is about to start. Preparations for Mahakumbh starting from 13 January 2023 are going on war footing. Yogi Adityanath has announced a seven-tier security plan to ensure the safety of lakhs of devotees. Under this decision, more than 37 thousand policemen will be deployed in the fair. The police force will be equipped with advanced technology.

The fair will be divided in so many ways

To ease the security arrangements, the fair ground will be divided into 10 zones, 25 sectors, 26 police stations and 155 check posts. In view of the fair, special arrangements are being made for the security of religious places, camps, ghats and bridges. The government is on alert to counter possible terrorist threats. 1378 women police officers will also be deployed in the fair, who will ensure the safety of women devotees.

Around 23 thousand police officers deployed in the fair alone

A seven-tier security system will be present at every corner from the entry point of the fair. This system has been designed to deal with every possible threat. 22,953 officers will be deployed in the fair, 6,887 officers and 7,771 GRP officers will be deployed in Prayagraj city. Apart from this, an additional contingent of officers will be involved for crowd control and security.

There will be special emphasis on cleanliness

Plans are underway to create a new record during Mahakumbh 2025. Under this scheme, 15,000 people will participate in the cleanliness campaign simultaneously at various places and ghats of the fair area. Apart from this, another special record will be set in this cleanliness campaign, in which 300 people will come together into the river and carry out the cleanliness campaign. The objective of this initiative is to give a new dimension to cleanliness in Mahakumbh and increase awareness about cleanliness.
