Kolkata. After the crushing defeat of BJP in the West Bengal Assembly Elections, Mamata Banerjee held a meeting with the newly elected MLAs on Wednesday evening at her Kalighat residence in Kolkata. A total of 80 MLAs were called by the TMC Chief in this meeting. If media reports are to be believed, only 71 MLAs attended the meeting. When he was asked about the remaining MLAs, he replied that the MLAs from the violence affected areas were not called.

More than 1500 party offices captured: TMC chief
