Severe winter in North India, dense fog alert in 16 cities, know how the weather will be in future

Today’s weather: Many states including the national capital Delhi are experiencing severe winter. The havoc of cold wave is visible. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has warned of dense fog in 16 districts of different states. An alert has been issued regarding snowfall in the hilly states. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy snowfall in Manali, Shimla, Samdo, Tabo and Kukumseri of Himachal. The temperature is falling in Nainital, Mussoorie and Chamoli of Uttarakhand.

There will be dark clouds in Delhi, Shimla, Manali, Dehradun, Gulmarg and Srinagar today. Temperature may break records with heavy snowfall in Manali. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Gulmarg can reach 2 degrees. The minimum temperature in Manali is expected to be -6 degrees. At the same time, dense fog is expected in some states of North India for the next one week.

Dense fog warning in these cities

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of dense fog in the states of North India and East India. Dense fog may occur in Patna, Saran, Buxar, Bhojpur, Purnia, Araria of Bihar and Lucknow, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Barabanki of Uttar Pradesh. A warning of dense fog has also been issued in Jaipur, Kota of Rajasthan and Bhopal, Indore, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

There may be dark clouds in Delhi today. It may drizzle. The maximum temperature is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 8 degrees Celsius. Last week the temperatures in Shekhawati and Mount Abu were near freezing point. The temperature there has increased by 4 to 5 degrees. The temperature of Fatehpur has increased from 2 degrees to 6.5 degrees Celsius. The temperature of Nagaur increased from 3.3 degrees to 6.6 degrees. There is strong sunshine in many cities of the state including Jaipur, due to which the day and night temperatures have increased.

Weather patterns will change in Uttarakhand today

The weather patterns will change in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand today. The Meteorological Center has issued a forecast of light rain and snowfall on the higher peaks. The effect of weak western disturbance is visible on the western Himalayan region. According to the Meteorological Department, even today the weather conditions may remain like Saturday. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts. In these districts, snow may fall at altitudes of 3500 meters and above. The weather will remain dry in other districts. The weather is likely to remain dry across the state till December 19.
