Along with freeing a woman, the police arrested three people including husband and wife. Later all three were sent to jail. Secretariat DSP Dr. Anu Kumari said that Additional SHO Deepak Kumar Mani of Gardnibagh police station had received information that prostitution business was going on in a house on Janta Road. After investigating it they conducted the raid. In which two people were caught.

After this, when the house was searched, two women were caught there. Many objectionable items were also recovered from the room. During interrogation, a woman resident of Motihari district told that her husband had brought her here and he was forcing her into prostitution. The police arrested her husband.
During interrogation, the woman told that Punpun resident Tirohan Sav had taken this house on rent. He along with his wife used to run prostitution business here. Police arrested Tirohan Sav and wife. While the landlord is said to be absconding. DSP said that a case has been registered against all three.
