‘Bullah’: Shaan Shahid makes a thrilling comeback in Pakistani cinema

Watching Shaan on the big screen after 12 years was amazing. His new Punjabi film, Bullahstarring Naeema Butt, Adnan Butt, Sara Loren, Saleem Sheikh, and Maham Mirza, gives fans everything they want: action, drama, and a strong performance from one of Pakistan’s most experienced actors.

I watched Bullah in the cinema with a friend, and Shaan truly made a great comeback. From start to finish, his acting was strong, and his action scenes showed why he is still a top name in Pakistani movies. Some characters were not fully introduced at first, but they found their place as the story went on, keeping the audience interested.

The cast did a good job. Naeema Butt shined as Fakira, Saleem Sheikh added depth as Bakshi, and Adnan Butt was great as Shahu.

Sara Loren made a strong debut as an underworld agent, and Maham Mirza gave a good first performance on the big screen. The supporting actors and extras made the story feel real, and the chemistry among everyone made the film better. A few supporting roles could have been shown more, but the main cast did very well.

Director Shoaib Khan handled the film confidently. The pacing, action scenes, and drama were managed well. Shaan’s action scenes were exciting, intense, and fun to watch. Some transitions between action and dialogue could have been smoother, but overall the movie moves well.

Bullah has a strong message: standing against injustice and doing what is right. The story by Nasir Adeeb has good dialogues and strong characters.

Some fans said a few parts of the story could have been clearer, and a bigger budget might have made the visuals even better. But these small points don’t take away from the excitement. Shaan’s character still feels larger than life, a true hero on the big screen.

The audience loved it. Fans cheered, laughed, and enjoyed the performances, showing that the film connects with viewers. Even with small weaknesses, Bullah gives a great cinema experience. For anyone who has missed Punjabi cinema in full glory, this film is a perfect reason to go back to theaters.

Overall, I would give Bullah 8.5 out of 10. Shaan’s performance, the strong cast, the action, and the story make it a must-watch. If you want to see a true cinematic comeback and enjoy a well-made Punjabi film, head to your nearest cinema now.
