However, the Meteorological Department has estimated that there may be rain in Ahmedabad and surrounding areas on June 1, but the possibility of rain during the final cannot be completely ruled out.
According to IPL rules, a reserve day has been kept for the final match, so that the match can be completed in case of bad weather. However, according to the Meteorological Department, June 1 may be more rainy than Sunday i.e. May 31. Despite this, the first effort of the organizers will be to complete the match on Sunday itself, even if the match has to be shortened. If for some reason the final cannot be completed even in two days, RCB will be declared the winner due to their better position in the league stage.
