This is the story of Fardeen Khan, whose last movie was with Shah Rukh Khan, which unfortunately did not do well at the box office. As a result, he vanished from the industry.

Fardeen Khan is the son of legendary Bollywood star Feroz Khan. He started his career in 1998 with Prem Aggan, a film directed and produced by his father. However, this movie also failed to make an impact at the box office. Throughout his career, Fardeen never gave a single solo hit. The movies of Fardeen that performed well at the box office, including No Entry, Heyy Babyy, and Bhoot, were all multi-starrers. After the 2010 box office failure of Dulha Mil Gaya, Fardeen Khan stepped away from Bollywood altogether.

Dulha Mil Gaya also featured Sushmita Sen in a key role. Helmed by Mudassar Aziz, Dulha Mil Gaya was produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s close friend Vivek Vaswani. The movie was made with a budget of Rs 22 crore. However, it turned out to be a huge failure and could not even earn Rs 5 crore. The collection of the film stood at Rs 3.08 crore domestically and Rs 6.48 crore worldwide.

After the failure of Dulha Mil Gaya, Fardeen completely vanished from the industry. However, in 2024, he made a strong comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series Heeramandi. The series is available on Netflix and turned out to be a huge hit. The series featured Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta, and Taha Shah Badussha in the main roles.
