Shahrukh Khan’s Knight Riders Group created history, became the first global cricket brand to build its own international stadium.

Knight Riders Cricket Ground, Pomona : Knight Riders Group, owned by Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, has created history by building its own stadium. It has become the world’s first global cricket brand, which has built its own international cricket stadium and that too within just 100 days. With this, the Knight Riders Cricket Field in Pomona, Los Angeles has officially hosted its first Major League Cricket match.

The match, played between Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR) and Washington Freedom at the Knight Riders Cricket Field, marks the beginning of what will become a permanent and world-class home for cricket in the United States, demonstrating that the Knight Riders Group continues to deliver on its vision of growing cricket through long-term investments in world-class infrastructure. Commenting on the success, Knight Riders Group co-owner Shah Rukh Khan said, “What was once a dream has now become a reality. Bringing cricket, the world’s second most watched sport, to Los Angeles is a historic moment for all of us.”

King Khan further added, “This long-term partnership between Fairplex and Knight Riders is not just about building a cricket stadium. Features of Knight Riders Cricket Field

Pomona’s Knight Riders Cricket Ground has been designed as per international standards, which is going to provide Los Angeles with the best cricketing experience for both players and fans. This stadium has eight wickets on the main square, playing dimensions as per ICC standards and six floodlight towers 120 feet high have been installed. More than 32,000 metric tons of soil was removed during construction.
