Clash in Pakistan over Taliban! Munir challenged Afghan, then Sharif appealed to the world

Shehbaz Sharif on Turkmenistan Neutrality Anniversary Forum: Tension between Pakistan and Taliban has reached its peak. In this situation, the government of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has appealed to the international community to put pressure on the Taliban and urge them to stop the violence. Shehbaz Sharif said that the international community should urge Afghanistan to fulfill its responsibilities and control the terrorist groups operating there.

Shahbaz made this statement while addressing an international forum organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The forum included several global leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian.

appealed to the international community

Referring to the recent incidents of terrorism, Shahbaz urged the international community to live up to its obligations and commitments on the Afghan Taliban regime and impose control on terrorist elements. He also thanked Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates, which helped establish a ceasefire between Islamabad and Kabul.

The interesting thing is that on one hand Shahbaz Sharif is pleading with the international community to stop Taliban. On the other hand, their army chief Asim Munir is seen giving statements against Taliban. He had recently warned the Taliban government of Afghanistan and said that Taliban should either choose TTP or Pakistan.

It is worth noting that Pakistan still gives opportunity to terrorist groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba to be active on its border, but on the international stage it expects others not to support terrorism.

Putin gave a powerful speech

Apart from Shahbaz, Russian President Vladimir Putin also gave a powerful speech. He praised Turkmenistan’s commitment to peace and non-intervention, saying that only a global order based on the UN Charter can prevent instability. Putin also highlighted the growing partnership between Russia and Turkmenistan, saying neutrality, sovereignty and mutual respect are essential in this era of global instability.
