The teaser of Vishal Bhardwaj’s film ‘O Romeo’ has been released. It stars Shahid Kapoor as a tattoo-wearing violent gangster who risks everything for the love of Trupti Dimri. This film starring stars like Nana Patekar and Vikrant Massey will be released on 13 February 2026.
O Romeo Teaser: The much awaited teaser of Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj’s fourth film ‘O Romeo’ was released today. This 1 minute 35 second teaser takes the audience to a world where love means not just roses, but also blood and revenge. The film is scheduled to release on February 13, 2026, coinciding with Valentine’s Day.
Shahid Kapoor’s ‘wild’ and ferocious look
The teaser starts with the powerful voice of Shahid Kapoor. Shahid plays the role of a gangster (Romeo) in this film, who is completely ‘wild’ and fearless. Shahid’s tattoos all over his body, cowboy hat, heavy chain around his neck and gun in his hands make his character scary and interesting. In the teaser, he is seen abusing, gambling and having fun while sitting in the bathtub on the cruise. This incarnation of his looks more violent and ‘dark’ than ‘Kabir Singh’.
Tripti Dimri cool but deep ‘Juliet’
While Shahid’s character is full of noise and violence, Tripti Dimri’s look is full of simplicity and sadness. The teaser ends with a glimpse of Trupti, where she is calmly watching the fishes in captivity. Her and Shahid’s chemistry hints at a ‘stormy love saga’, where Shahid’s character is ready to risk everything for Trupti.
Romeo
The most popular dialogue of the teaser has been given by senior actress Farida Jalal. She says, “Ishq mein aashiq tar jaye to Romeo, mar jaye to… This line reflects the dark humor and deep philosophy of the film, which has been the hallmark of Vishal Bhardwaj’s films.

The film stars not only Shahid and Trupti, but an entire army of actors:
