Tezzbuzz Desk – The craze for Shah Rukh Khan’s films is always seen at a different level. Whenever any of his new films is announced, the excitement among the fans increases manifold. After 1000 crore films like ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’ in the year 2023, now King Khan is going to return to the big screen with his next big film ‘King’.
The film ‘King’ will be released on 24 December 2026 on the occasion of Christmas. The film is being directed by Siddharth Anand, who had earlier given blockbusters like ‘Pathan’ with Shahrukh Khan. At the same time, the film is being produced by Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
Currently, the shooting of the film is going on in South Africa, from where recently some pictures were leaked on social media. In these pictures, Shahrukh Khan was seen in a check shirt and sunglasses, while Deepika Padukone was seen in a printed dress. Both were seen walking holding each other’s hands. Looking at the pictures, it seems that a special romantic or song scene was being shot.
But due to the leaking of these pictures, the film team became very upset. Especially director Siddharth Anand has expressed his displeasure over this and made a special appeal to the fans.
While sharing the poster of the film, he wrote, “All friends are requested to please do not post or circulate any leaked photos from the sets of ‘King’. Our entire team is working hard day and night to give everyone the best cinematic experience. You see this surprise on the silver screen and wait until our team itself shares the visuals related to the film.”
Siddharth Anand further thanked the fans for their love, support and cooperation. He believes that the real fun of the film will come only when the audience sees it for the first time on the big screen in the theatre.
‘King’ is not only the comeback of Shahrukh Khan but also the theatrical debut of his daughter Suhana Khan. Suhana will be seen on the big screen for the first time through this film, about which there is a lot of excitement among the fans.
The star cast of the film is also very strong. Many big names like Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Abhay Verma are associated with Shahrukh.
According to reports, the estimated budget of the film is around Rs 350 crore. In such a situation, trade experts hope that ‘King’ can also enter the Rs 1000 crore club at the box office.
