Religious leader Devkinandan Thakur and Jagadguru Rambhadracharya expressed their objection, saying – How can a team owner have such a heart of stone?
Shahrukh Khan, (Age Society), New Delhi: The purchase of Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman by Kolkata Knight Riders is facing opposition from franchise owner actor Shahrukh Khan. Religious leaders Devkinandan Thakur and Jagadguru Rambhadracharya raised this objection on Thursday. Rambhadracharya said, Shahrukh Khan is not a hero. He has no character.
They are acting like traitors. Devkinandan said that how can a team owner be so stone-hearted that he includes in his team a cricketer from a country where Hindus are being persecuted. Let us tell you that Shahrukh’s franchise Kolkata Knight Riders has bought cricketer Rahman for Rs 9.2 crore. In fact, 3 Hindus have been murdered in Bangladesh in 12 days. There is opposition to this in India. Demonstrations are taking place at many places.

Whereas BJP leader Sangeet Som said that Hindus are being killed selectively in Bangladesh. In such a situation, buying the players from there is betrayal to the country, isn’t it? People like Shahrukh Khan are traitors. Sometimes they support Pakistan and sometimes Bangladesh. They support every country which commits atrocities against Hindus. Whereas these traitors do not know that the people of India have made you a superstar.

A day earlier on Wednesday, Som had said that when a player from Pakistan cannot come to play in India then how will a player from Bangladesh come to play in India. This won’t work at all. We will not let you play.

Mustafizur Rahman is a left-arm fast bowler and is known for his cutters and slower balls. He was born on 6 September 1995 in Satarkhira, Bangladesh. Rahman made his debut in international cricket in 2015 in the ODI series against India.
