Bollywood's King Khan Shahrukh Khan and actress Rani Mukherjee were given the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) for Best Actor and Best Actress.
The second day of the three-day long IIFA Awards show in Abu Dhabi was in the name of Bollywood stars. The Best Actor award was given to Shahrukh Khan for the film Jawan while the Best Actress award was given to Rani Mukherjee for the film Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway. The Best Film award was given to the film Animal. Vidhu Vinod Chopra received the Best Direction award for the film 12th Fail. The Best Supporting Actor award was given to Anil Kapoor for the film Animal, while Shabana Azmi was awarded the Best Supporting Actress award for the film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
Bobby Deol received the Best Actor (Negative Role) award for the film Animal. Best Story, Love Story of Rocky and Rani, Best Music from the film Animal, Best Lyrics, Siddharth-Garima (Song Satranga from Animal), Best Playback Singer, Bhupinder Babbal, Song Arjan Valley from the film Animal, Best Playback Singer (Female) Shilpa Rao, The song Chaleya was given for the film Jawan. The award for Outstanding Contribution to Indian Cinema, Jayantilal Gada, Hema Malini, Achievement on Completing 25 Years in Cinema was given to Karan Johar.
Many big celebrities of Bollywood participated in this program. Stars like Hema Malini, Rekha, Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon graced the event. One of the highlights of the event was Shahrukh Khan, who not only hosted the event but also entertained the audience with his unique style. Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar were also seen with him on the stage. Apart from this, she won the hearts of people by presenting a spectacular dance on 'Jhume Jo Pathan'. At the IIFA Awards night, many stars including Rekha, Ananya Panday, Jhanvi Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Prabhudeva enthralled the crowd with their dance.
It is noteworthy that the three-day festival started on September 27 with IIFA Utsavam, an event dedicated to the southern film industries – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. IIFA 2024 will conclude with IIFA Rocks on September 29. In this event, veteran artists like Honey Singh, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will perform live for the audience.

IIFA 2024 was held in Abu Dhabi this year. Shahrukh Khan was the special attraction of this event. Shahrukh Khan was seen hosting IIFA 2024 in his special style. Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal supported Shahrukh. Veteran actress Rekha was also seen giving a special performance for this event.
