Shahrukh Khan rejected the offer of 'Chamunda' with Alia Bhatt, why did he reject the film?

Entertainment news: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has rejected the lead role offer he got with Alia Bhatt in the film 'Chamunda'. If reports are to be believed, Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, who are working with Maddock Films, wanted to bring Shah Rukh Khan into their horror-comedy universe. However, instead of joining this universe, Shahrukh has expressed his desire to do a new and different project.

Shahrukh Khan's inclination towards 'new' project

The source said that Shahrukh Khan did not want to be a part of this horror-comedy universe, rather he wanted to do something new with Maddock and Amar Kaushik. Shahrukh has asked them to bring him a new and unseen genre, after which both of them are now considering new names for 'Chamunda'.

Chamunda's release and Alia Bhatt's participation

'Chamunda' is scheduled to release in 2026 and this film is currently in the writing stage. Alia Bhatt is excited to play the lead role in this film and is working with Dinesh Vijan for this project. Many films have been discussed between Alia Bhatt and Dinesh Vijan and this film can be a psychological supernatural thriller.
