Nellore :- Shahul Hameed, who lives in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, has received recognition for making excellent utensils from discarded coconut shells. Shahul says that taking lessons from his father, he started making things like jugs, bowls and tea cups. Artisan Shahul Hameed said that my father gave me this idea. Initially I started making bowls from coconut shells and later he also suggested me to make tea cups.

According to Shahul Hameed, the specialty of utensils made from coconut shell is that they maintain the temperature for a long time. Due to which hot things remain hot for a long time and cold things remain cold. Artisan Shahul Hameed said that these cups can cool even normal water, and are comfortable to hold even with very hot tea. Additionally, they keep the tea hot, so you can enjoy it till the last sip.
