Shakib Al Hasan will be out of the second Test against India! Coach Chandika Hathurusingha gave the answer

Kanpur: A two-match Test series is being played between India and Bangladesh. The first match of this series was played in Chennai, where India won by 280 runs. In this match, Bangladesh's experienced player Shakib Al Hasan got injured. After which it was being speculated that he would not be available for the Kanpur Test. But now Bangladesh's head coach Chandika Hathurusingha has made it clear that he will be available for the second Test against India.

Shakib suffered a finger injury while facing Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah during the opening match in Chennai. The 37-year-old spin all-rounder was also brought in quite late and bowled only 21 overs in India's two innings.

The second Test will start on Friday. “Right now I haven't spoken to my physio or anyone. But he is still available for selection,” Hathurusingha said after the team's first training session in Kanpur. The coach praised Shakib for his brilliant performance against the Indian attack in the second innings in which he scored 25 runs in 56 balls.

Shakib's performance has not been so good recently as he could not score many runs in Pakistan against whom Bangladesh won a historic Test series. He scored only 15, 2 and 21 runs in his three matches. But Hathurusingha said that he is not too worried about Shakib's performance with the bat.

He said, “I am not worried about his performance. Looking at our performance, it seems that we could have done better. I am sure that he also feels that he can perform better. We all know what he is capable of doing.”

For information, let us tell you that India has won the first Test match by 280 runs and has taken a 1-0 lead in the series. In this match, India's experienced all-rounder R Ashwin bowled and batted brilliantly. For which he was chosen as the Man of the Match.
