Shakib Al Hasan will play his last test against South Africa, Bangladesh announced the team

Sports Desk : Bangladesh's legendary player Shakib Al Hasan has got his farewell test in Bangladesh. Shakib will now play the last test at home. He has been included in the team for the first Test against South Africa. Before the second and final Test against India in Kanpur, Shakib had expressed his desire to play his last Test in Bangladesh.

Shakib had said during a press conference in India that he wants to play his last Test in Bangladesh but if Bangladesh Cricket Board gives him full security then he will play in Bangladesh. Shakib has been accused of being involved in the murder of a student, but the veteran Bangladesh player was taking part in a T20 league in Canada at the time of the incident.

Special message given to Bangladesh fans

He also gave a message to the fans of Bangladesh. He wrote that you all know that I will play my last match soon. I want to say goodbye with all of you. At the moment of farewell, I want to shake hands with those whose applause inspired me to play better.

After the two-Test series against South Africa, Bangladesh team will leave for UAE to play a three-match series against Afghanistan. Shakib is also a part of the ODI team and the team's departure will also ensure his departure from the country. Only Khalid Ahmed has been dropped from the team that recently toured India.
