Recently, Shalini Pandey talked openly about the film, her character and personal thoughts in a program.
This interactive program was organized in Gurugram, Haryana, in which Shalini Pandey interacted directly with the audience and media. During this, he told that the film ‘Rahu Ketu’ is one of those films in his career, which gave him a new experience as an artist.

When asked where she is stuck between Rahu (Varun Sharma) and Ketu (Pulkit Samrat) in the film, Shalini smiled and replied, I am not stuck. My character is very strong and interesting.” She clarified that this character is different from a traditional female role and has many layers, which take the story forward.
Shalini Pandey told that when the film’s director Vipul Vig narrated the story to her, she liked the project. He said, it is a different kind of intelligent comedy. When the writer and director are the same person, it becomes easier to trust as an actor.” According to him, this film is not limited to just laughs and jokes, but it also has thought-provoking moments.
I felt very free while doing this role
Shalini Pandey said an important thing about her character. He told, often the characters of girls in films are black and white. But my role in ‘Rahu Ketu’ has many layers. I felt very free while playing it. She thanked director Vipul Vig and said that writing such a character and showing confidence in it is a big thing for any actress.
Due to the name of the film being ‘Rahu Ketu’, when she was asked about astrology, Shalini answered very honestly.
She said, when good things happen, I accept. Otherwise I don’t read horoscopes every day. She also laughingly told that her mother believes in astrology and for the sake of her mother’s happiness, she often listens to her words. Shalini Pandey, Varun Sharma and Pulkit Samrat starrer film ‘Rahu Ketu’ will be released in theaters on 16 January 2026.
