Shankaracharya shouted in Varanasi on cow dignity; Said- No government has respected the eternal spirit

Avimukteshwaranand Speech On Gau Pratishtha Andolan: Paramdharmadhish Jyotishpeethadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj rewarded the winning participants of the Cow Prahari competition by giving them mementos and certificates in a function organized at Sri Vidyamath this evening. Let us tell you that with the aim of giving Mother Cow the status of Mother of the Nation and Mother of the State and creating public awareness for the protection of Mother Cow by stopping cow slaughter in India, the Cow Sentinel Competition was organized by Sri Gurukulam Trust in the schools of Varanasi district.

Boys and girls from class 3 to class 12 participated in the competition. While rewarding the successful participants in the competition, Shankaracharya Maharaj said that in Sanatan Dharma, mother cow has not been seen as an animal but as the nurturer and foundation stone of religion, culture and creation.

The country ranks second in beef export

He further said that if seen, the beginning of India’s independence movement was due to the feeling of protection and respect for mother cow. It is the misfortune of us Sanatanis that even after getting independence, no government respected the sentiments of the Sanatanis. Today, in the country of majority Sanatanis, their own mother cows are being killed. Today our country has moved from second to first number in the world in beef export.

National Mother should be honored

Today’s modern education system has also distanced us from our religion and culture. We are taught about the importance of cows only for their economic benefits and they are described as useful pets only. Our objective is that the cow should be respected as a mother and not an animal. This has to be ensured. In this Sanatani country, our mother cow should be honored as the mother of the nation.

President of Sri Gurukulam, Abhay Shankar Tiwari said that through this competition we are supporting the Gau Pratishtha Movement of our Most High Paramdharmadhish Uttaramnaya Jyotishpeethadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj and this is just a squirrel effort of ours in his Bhagiratha effort. Through this competition we will try to develop understanding among people regarding the importance of mother cow.

Prominent people including Shrimath’s successor Raghav Das Maharaj, Parmatmanand Maharaj, Tribhuvan, Brijesh Seth, Abhishek Singh, Sonu Maurya, Shreya Srivastava, Vikram Trivedi, Upendra Chaudhary, Ambarish Kumar Rai, Brahmanand Shukla etc. were included in the program.
