New Delhi: Many airline companies including Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet are already active in India. Now some new names are also going to be added to this list. Airlines like Shankha Air, Al Hind Air and Fly Express are also ready to fly in the Indian skies. Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said in the statement that in the last one week he has met teams of many new airlines. DGCA approves new airlines

Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said that Shankha Air, Al Hind Air and Fly Express are the new airlines. Shankha Air has already received NOC from the ministry, while Al Hind Air and Fly Express have also been granted NOC this week. He said that the aim of the ministry is to promote more and more new airlines in the country.

The Union Civil Aviation Minister said that India is among the fastest growing aviation markets in the world. This growth has been possible due to the policies of the Central Government and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. UDAN scheme has strengthened small airlines. Airlines like Star Air, IndiaOne Air and Fly91 are playing an important role in regional connectivity. There is potential for even greater growth ahead in the civil aviation sector.

He also informed that the new Uttar Pradesh based airline Shankha Airline will initially start its services from Lucknow to Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Indore and Dehradun.
