Now Chhath songs of Sharda Sinha have started being heard. Amidst all this, Bihar's famous folk singer Sharda Sinha, who has been battling blood cancer for six years, has been admitted to AIIMS, Delhi. According to doctors, his condition is stable and he has been kept on oxygen support. However, the situation of ventilator has not come yet.

Padma Bhushan Sharda Sinha has been suffering from blood cancer named multiple myeloma for the last six years. On Friday, his health suddenly deteriorated, after which he was hurriedly admitted to the Cancer Center of Delhi AIIMS. AIIMS administration has said that Sharda has been kept on oxygen support in the Medical Oncology Ward, but her condition is stable and at present she is not put on ventilator. The team of doctors is constantly monitoring his health.
It is being told that Sharda ji was having difficulty in eating and drinking for some time and was undergoing treatment, but on the morning of 26th October, her health suddenly worsened. At present he is admitted in the Oncology Medical Department of AIIMS. Some time ago, Sharda ji's husband Braj Kishore died of brain hemorrhage at the age of 80. This year Sharda and Braj Kishore celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. Sharda Sinha is 72 years old.

Sharda Sinha from Bihar started her singing journey in 1980. People especially know Sharda Sinha for her Maithili and Bhojpuri songs. In recognition of his contribution in the field of music, he was awarded Padma Shri in 1991 and Padma Bhushan in 2018.
