Share Market Crash: Sensex fell 1700 points, Nifty down 500 points, know the condition of the market? Indian stock market is falling today on March 4 amid the US-Israel and Iran war. The Sensex has fallen 1,700 points or 2.04% to 78,500. Nifty has fallen 500 points or 2% to 24,350. Bank and auto stocks have fallen the most.

There is a danger of inflation increasing due to geopolitical tension and war-like situations. This may reduce corporate profits. In turn, investors start selling their shares and invest them in safe havens like gold and silver. This causes a decline in the market.

Three main reasons for market decline

crude oil: India’s import bill and inflation will increase due to rising crude oil prices.

global sell off: The decline in US and Asian markets is affecting India.

Crude oil increased by more than 13% in three days

Brent crude oil today increased by almost half percent to more than $80 per barrel. Its price has increased by more than 13% in the last three days.

Experts believe that if this tension increases further, oil prices may reach $120 per barrel. This may affect the prices of petrol and diesel in India.

Petrol prices in Delhi may increase from Rs 95 per liter to Rs 100, while diesel prices may increase from Rs 88 to Rs 92. There may be a similar increase in prices in other cities also.

In Asian market, South Korea’s market fell the most by 8%

South Korea’s Kospi index fell 585 points, or 10%, to 5,206.
Japan’s Nikkei was trading 2,188 points, or 3.89%, at 54,090.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index fell 480 points, or 1.87%, to 25,285.
China’s Shanghai Composite Index fell 24 points, or 0.54%, to 4,098.

US market recovers after falling by 1,200 points

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) fell more than 1,200 points in trading on March 3, but later recovered nearly 800 points from its lowest level.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 403 points (0.83%) to 48,501.
The tech-based Nasdaq Composite index fell 1.02% to 22,516.
The S&P 500 index fell 65 points (0.94%) to 6,816.
