Recession clouds over stock market, auto index declines

Mumbai : The direct impact of the weak global trend is visible on the Indian stock market also. Today, recessionary clouds appear over the domestic market. There was a lot of movement in the market in the pre-opening session. There has been a sudden decline in the fast growing stocks. Market performance also becomes important today because many companies are going to release their quarterly reports today.

BSE Sensex, which had opened very fast in the initial trading of the Indian stock market, has registered a decline after some time. In today's trading, the Sensex opened at 81,758 points, up 256.71 points or 0.31 percent. Also, NSE's Nifty, which had risen by 56.10 points or 0.22 percent in the pre-opening session, has fallen to the level of 25,027 points in a short time.
