Both killers of Osman Hadi reached India! Dhaka Police reveals who helped him escape from Bangladesh?
Sharif Osman Hadi Murder Case: recently Dhaka Bangladesh student leader Sharif Usman Hadi was shot dead during an election campaign in Bijainagar area. After which violence broke out in Bangladesh, many media offices were set on fire and vandalized. Apart from this, the angry mob beat three Hindus to death.

Now a big revelation has come to light in the murder case of Usman Hadi. Quoting Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), local newspaper The Daily Star has reported that the two main accused in this sensational murder case have fled to India. It is being told that the accused entered India through Haluaghat border of Mymensingh city and then reached Meghalaya.
The accused entered India from Haluaghat border
During the press conference held at DMP Media Centre, Additional Commissioner SN Nazrul Islam said that the two main accused in the murder, Faisal Karim Masood and Alamgir Shaikh, entered India by crossing the Haluaghat border. According to the police, they got help from local colleagues during this period.
Received local help to reach Meghalaya
Giving information, Additional Commissioner of DMP said, “As per our information, the accused entered India through Haluaghat border. After crossing the border, they were first received by a person named Purti. After this, a taxi driver named Sami took them to Tura city of Meghalaya.” It was also told that the two people who helped the accused reach Meghalaya have been taken into custody in India.
Intensification of contacts between India and Bangladesh
SN Nazrul Islam said that Bangladeshi officials are in constant touch with Indian agencies in this matter. He said, “We are in touch with the Indian authorities, both formally and informally, to ensure the arrest and extradition of the accused.” The assassination of Sharif Osman Hadi had brought a boil in the politics and student organizations of Bangladesh. After Hadi’s death, violent demonstrations took place in many cities and questions were raised about the government’s security arrangements.
