Mumbai: There are continuous discussions across the country regarding the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. Meanwhile, actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha has given his reaction on this matter. He said, “The attack on Saif Ali Khan is very sad and unfortunate. He was seriously injured in this attack, but thank God he is now recovering.”

Shatrughan Sinha further said, “My best wishes to my beloved 'Showman' Raj Kapoor's granddaughter Kareena Kapoor Khan and her family. I make a humble appeal to everyone to please stop the blame game. The police is doing its job properly. And we appreciate the efforts of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Home Minister Eknath Shinde.” He also said that a brilliant actor like Saif Ali Khan should get well soon and the law will take its course as the incidents are moving in the right direction.

The accused who attacked Saif Ali Khan has also been arrested. The police have achieved great success in this case and arrested the accused Mohammad Aliyan alias BJ from Thane. To avoid being caught, the accused had revealed his name as Vijay Das. Police arrested the accused from Kasarvadavali area of Thane, Mumbai. The attack took place on the night of January 16, when the accused entered Saif Ali Khan's house with the intention of theft and attacked him with a knife. Saif suffered serious injuries in this attack and is undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Police have recorded the statement of Saif's family and staff in this case.
