‘There is no one like you…’, Shahbaz Sharif attended the first meeting of the Board of Peace, buttered Trump a lot

Trump Board of Peace Meeting: The first meeting of the Board of Peace formed for the reconstruction of the war-ravaged Gaza Strip on the initiative of US President Donald Trump was held on Thursday at the Donald J. Held at Trump Institute of Peace. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also participated in this important meeting. However, during this time Shahbaz spent all his time praising Trump and making himself look poor.

Shahbaz Sharif, while delivering the Board of Peace speech, praised the US President and described him as the savior of South Asia. He said “there is no one like you” and hailed Trump as an angel of peace.

Appreciation of Trump’s mediation

Shahbaz Sharif said during the meeting that Donald Trump has truly played an important role for South Asia. He praised Trump’s mediation during the war and claimed that the US President made every possible effort to maintain peace in the region. He also said that Trump played a balanced role in tense situations with India and made an important contribution in stopping the war.

After this statement of the Pakistani Prime Minister, the discussion again intensified on the ceasefire related to India and the role of Trump. This meeting was also special because a total of 27 countries including Pakistan are included in this Board of Peace formed on the initiative of the US President. Countries like Argentina, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Israel also participated, but Palestine is not a part of this board.

PM Modi was also invited

Donald Trump had also invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to join this board. However, India participated as an observer. The first meeting was represented by Namgya Khampa, ‘Chargé d’Affairs’ of the Indian Embassy. The objective of the meeting was to formulate a common strategy for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and ensure the cooperation of the international community.

Thus, the first meeting of the Board of Peace attracted global attention to regional peace and cooperation. The reactions of Pakistan and other member states established the US initiative as a significant political and diplomatic move.
