Mumbai Mumbai. Actress Shehnaaz Gill showcased her dancing skills on rapper Badshah's latest track “Morni” on the sets of her film and said she is never too busy to do what she loves. Shehnaaz shared a video on Instagram Shared in which she was seen dancing with her team. The actress wore a red crop top with denim and white sneakers as she grooved to the track.
“When work forces you to run at full speed, but passion says, 'Let's do it very quickly!' Busy, but never too busy for something I love,” he wrote as the caption.
Liking the dance moves, Badshah left a comment for Shehnaaz which read: “Bada gale.” Talking about the song, it features a reference to the 1991 Rajasthani folk song from the Bollywood film “Lamhe” starring Anil Kapoor and Sridevi. The inspired song is “Morni Baga Ma Bole”. It was composed by Shiv-Hari, with lyrics written by Anand Bakshi and sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Ila Arun.
Meanwhile, Shehnaaz has just started shooting for her Punjabi film and described it as “a new journey”. On November 22, she shared a picture on her Instagram where she is seen holding the film's clapboard . This film is directed by Amarjeet Saron. The caption reads, “Starting a new journey today and extremely proud and happy to announce that today we are starting the shooting of our Punjabi film with our dream team.”
The director of this yet untitled film is known for making films like “Hausla Rakh”, “Saunkan Saunkne”, “Kala Shah Kala”, “Jhalle”, “Babe Bhangra Pounde Ne”.Shehnaz was recently seen in the film Vicky was seen in the modern version of the track 'Sajna Ve Sajna' from 'Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video'. Shehnaaz and Rajkumar Rao are seen in this new version. It is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, who sang the original track, and Divya Kumar.
Shehnaaz rose to stardom after her stint in “Bigg Boss 13”. Her chemistry with the winner and late star Sidharth Shukla caught everyone's attention. Together they were affectionately called “Sidnaaz”. It was in 2015, when Shehnaaz started her modeling career with a music video titled 'Shiv Di Kitab'. In 2017, she made her debut in the Punjabi film 'Sat Shri Akal England'.
