Sheikh Hasina's big statement: 'I survived despite attacks and conspiracies'

Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has recently made serious allegations in her audio. He said that when he was ousted from power, a conspiracy was hatched to assassinate his younger sister Sheikh Rehana and himself. This audio message was posted on the social media handle of Bangladesh's Awami League Party.

Sheikh Hasina said that she and her sister did not fall victim to this conspiracy and somehow survived. “If we had stayed there for 20-25 more minutes, anything could have happened,” he said.

There was a big protest in 2024, Sheikh Hasina was ousted from power.
In 2024, there were nationwide protests in Bangladesh, which were led by students. Following these protests and clashes, Sheikh Hasina was ousted from power. More than 600 people died in this conflict.

Sheikh Hasina had taken refuge in India
Sheikh Hasina somehow saved her life and took refuge in India. Currently, an interim government is running in Bangladesh under the leadership of Muhammad Yunus. Sheikh Hasina once again mentioned the conspiracy to assassinate her and said that several attacks were made against her.

“Allah's will saved me”
“It was the will of Allah that I survived,” an emotional Sheikh Hasina said in her audio. He told that not once but several murder conspiracies were hatched against him. Sheikh Hasina also mentioned the grenade attack on August 21, 2004 and the bomb plot in Kotalipara.

“It was only by the grace of Allah that I am alive today,” Sheikh Hasina said. He said, “I am not in my country today, I am far away from my home. Everything there has been burnt.”
