Shia LaBeouf gets arrested for misdemeanour
Criticising the punishment against his client, Chervinsky stated, “No regular person would be required to post over $100,000 in bonds, and be jailed two separate times for one misdemeanor incident. Just as he does not deserve preferential treatment, Mr LaBeouf also does not deserve to be treated more harshly by the police and courts just because he is a public figure.”
Recently, the actor talked to Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan regarding his past tussles with law enforcement, religious beliefs, alcoholism, and relationships with Mia Goth and FKA Twigs. Towards the end of his conversation with Callaghan, he walked away for a beer and broke a wall by accident. Eventually, he admitted his mistake for the arrest for his New Orleans incident and described his behaviour then as “dirty, ugly, disgusting”.
LaBeouf also admitted that he is likely to face a hate crime charge, carrying a greater penalty in terms of its severity, although he has largely been casual and dismissive of the latest controversy. Suggesting that it does not concern him one bit, the actor said, “It’s another experience. Jail be another adventure. What are you gonna do?”
