Late night commotion in Shilpa Shetty’s pub in Bengaluru, police investigation started after viral video

This pub is said to be owned by Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty. After the video surfaced, Bengaluru Police has started investigating the matter and people related to the incident are being identified.

When did the incident happen?

According to the information, this incident took place on the night of 11th December at around 1:30 am. Initially there was a small conversation between some customers present inside the pub, which gradually turned into a heated argument. It can be seen in the viral CCTV footage that there is an atmosphere of chaos inside the pub and people are arguing among themselves. However, any kind of fight or physical attack is not clearly visible in the video.

Initial investigation has revealed that the dispute started over bill payment. As the matter escalated, the pub staff intervened and took control of the situation. After the intervention of the staff, the matter did not worsen and no one was seriously injured.

Former contestant of Bigg Boss interrogated

Former Bigg Boss contestant and businessman Satya Naidu is also seen in the viral video. Responding to the allegations, Satya Naidu has denied any wrongdoing. He said that he had gone to the pub with his friends just for dinner and there was a minor argument while paying the bill. He also clarified that there was no scuffle during the incident.

Police are investigating the matter

It is noteworthy that Shilpa Shetty had started this pub in partnership with restaurateur Ranjit Bindra in the year 2019. Regarding the matter, DCP of Central Division has confirmed that the police has taken suo motu cognizance and started investigation. Police are examining CCTV footage and statements of the people concerned. Officials say that if any serious crime comes to light in the investigation, appropriate legal action will be taken.
