Lucknow/New Delhi: Television actress Shilpa Shinde is currently facing huge opposition in the entertainment industry and social media. Recently, in the podcast of Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa, they made a shocking revelation which has given rise to a big controversy. Shilpa confessed that she had falsely accused the producer of her superhit show ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ of sexual harassment.

After this confession the entire industry has stood against him. Many big artists including Pooja Bedi and Hina Khan have condemned his action. At the same time, ‘All India Cine Workers Association’ (AICWA) has taken this matter seriously and has demanded Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to take strict legal action against the actress.

Despite demands for legal action from all sides and continuous trolling, there has been no softening in Shilpa Shinde’s attitude. He has issued an open challenge to his critics through social media. While sharing one of her reels on Instagram, the actress wrote in the caption:

“Those who are jealous, keep burning, do not give your blood to anyone in need, finish it by burning yourself.”

In the text of the same video, she further wrote – “Be a woman and always be ready to say that whatever has to be uprooted, uproot it.”

“Stop spreading fabricated stories” – targetted on PR agencies

Seeing the growing controversy, Shilpa posted another video on social media, in which she explained the definition of sexual harassment and expressed her views. He wrote in the caption that PR teams should stop spreading false rumors regarding this matter.

In her post, she wrote that sexual harassment is any unwanted behavior that makes someone feel uncomfortable or humiliated, such as inappropriate gestures, comments or inappropriate messages. He asked people not to spread their fabricated theories on social media.

The anger of netizens is sky high over misuse of a serious law like sexual harassment and then sharing such ‘challenging’ posts. Users took him to task in the comment section.

Commenting sharply, one user wrote, “It is extremely shameful to show such an attitude by ruining someone’s life and career with false allegations. There is such a thing as responsibility and accountability.”
