Eknath Shinde Support to BJP in Delhi election 2025: Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde has taken a big decision regarding the Delhi assembly elections 2025. Amid reports of resentment, he has announced support to the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi. Regarding this, he has also written a letter to BJP National President JP Nadda. In which he has talked about actively supporting the BJP candidate.
Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde has made his stand clear regarding Delhi Assembly elections. He has decided to support BJP in Delhi elections. Regarding this, he has written a letter to Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda. In which he said, 'I have instructed Shiv Sena Delhi unit to actively participate in the election campaign in collaboration with the BJP state unit.'

Eknath Shinde is angry..?
It is being claimed that Eknath Shinde is angry after the announcement of foster ministers by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. It is being told that Shiv Sena did not get attention in the announcement of its party as the minister of the districts. Sources said that Shinde has gone to his native village in Satara district. On Saturday, Fadnavis government had announced ministers in-charge for 36 districts of Maharashtra. However, a day later these appointments for Nashik and Raigarh were put on hold. After the news of Shinde's displeasure, ministers Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Girish Mahajan left for Daregaon to meet him.

AAP-Congress contesting on 70 seats, BJP on 68 seats
A total of 699 candidates are in the fray for 70 assembly seats in Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party and Congress (Delhi Congress) are contesting elections on all 70 seats. Bharatiya Janata Party (Delhi BJP) has fielded election candidates on 68 seats. Whereas under NDA quota, Burari seat of Delhi has been given to JDU and Deoli seat to LJP Ram Vilas. Bahujan Samaj Party will contest on 69 seats while Ajit Pawar's NCP will contest on 30 seats. Let us tell you that voting will be held on all 70 assembly seats of Delhi in one phase on 5th February. The result will be declared on 8th February.
