A few hours after his arrest, tobacco trader’s son Shivam Mishra got bail from the court.

Kanpur. The son of famous tobacco businessman KK Mishra has been arrested by the police. However, just a few hours after his arrest he got bail from the court. Police arrested Shivam Mishra on Thursday. Shivam Mishra was arrested due to pressure on the police. The court has rejected the surrender of his driver Mohan in the case. Now he has also been granted bail. Now the court has granted bail to Shivam Mishra on a personal bond of Rs 20 thousand. Along with this, the court has also directed that he will support the police investigation.

On February 8, a speeding Lamborghini car hit several people including a bike near Gwaltoli police station on VIP Road in Kanpur. Six people were injured in the accident. According to the information, the car was being driven by Shivam Mishra, son of tobacco businessman KK Mishra. After the accident, Shivam’s security personnel took him to the hospital. The police seized the car and took it to Gwaltoli police station. Earlier the police used to be negligent in this matter. The police had earlier registered the FIR in the name of an unknown person. When the pressure increased, the police added Shivam Mishra’s name in the FIR. Shivam Mishra was admitted in the hospital after the accident. The police arrested him after his discharge on Thursday. Before this, KK Mishra, father of accused Shivam Mishra, had recorded his statement at Gwalatoli police station. In the statement he had told that the car was not being driven by his son but by the driver Mohan. After arresting him on Thursday, the police presented Shivam Mishra in the court, from where he got bail. The police had not given notice in the court for remand. On this basis, the court has granted bail to Shivam Mishra.
