Police statement about the incident

Regarding this, Additional SP Arvind Verma said that information was received from the City Kotwali police station area of ​​Jaunpur district about the discovery in Mulla Tola, after which the Kotwali police got information that a damaged Ganesh idol along with an ancient Shivalinga was found in a graveyard in this locality. . As soon as information about this was received, the Yoga team of the municipality along with a large number of PAC forces reached the spot and set up a PAC camp there. There is talk of setting up a tin shed at the place where Shivling was found.
