Strict instructions to agencies

The Union Home Ministry has given clear instructions to the DGP of Madhya Pradesh and the Special Commissioner of Delhi Police that there should not be even an iota of lapse in security. The letter said that security arrangements should be adjusted immediately to prevent any untoward incident. Local police and security agencies have strengthened their security cordon in both the cities. Now whether this security cover is just a response to a foreign threat or a preparation for the coronation of the new BJP chief, only time will tell, but Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s stature definitely seems to be increasing.
