Shock to fans: Amitabh Bachchan changed the tradition of Jalsa.. said Sunday break is necessary..
New Delhi. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has always been very close to his fans. Over the years, he has been recognized not only for his acting but also for his personal connections with fans. It had become his tradition to come out of his Mumbai home ‘Jalsa’ every Sunday and meet his fans. On this occasion, it was special for Big B to see the crowd of fans and feel their love.
But this Sunday (22 February) this tradition was broken. Amitabh Bachchan himself informed his fans about this on social media. He wrote on Tumblr that due to work, his energy and time is different this week and this time he will not be able to meet his fans at the Jalsa gate. He said that it has become necessary to take a Sunday break and will soon get a chance to meet the fans.
Big B wrote in his post that ‘The work is going on with some enthusiasm but one but comes and the day ends for me. So save your travel energy and see you soon. Till then, many more in the peace of thoughts and ideas and thoughts…’ It is clear from this statement that the superstar could not meet the fans due to his personal schedule.
However, his neighbor and fan-made Jesarani was given a chance to meet Amitabh Bachchan in person. Nirmit shared a video on Instagram in which he told that he met Big B on February 8 and the superstar gave him a T-shirt with his autograph and photo. This occasion became memorable for him.
This decision of Amitabh Bachchan is definitely a bit disappointing for the fans but it is important to understand this keeping in mind his busyness and health. Despite years of tradition, Big B kept his priorities in mind while maintaining distance from fans.
This break from Jalsa tradition shows that even superstars value their personal time and leisure. Despite the love of fans, Amitabh Bachchan gave priority to his personal energy and comfort. Now fans will have to wait and eagerly welcome the next opportunity when Big B will meet them again at his Jalsa gate.
