Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, who is on a tour of Maharashtra, announced the names of four candidates on Friday (October 18).

Akhilesh Yadav has announced the candidature of Abu Azmi from Shivajinagar Assembly Constituency, Raees Shaikh from Bhiwandi East Assembly Constituency, Riyaz Azmi from Bhiwandi West Assembly Constituency and Shane Hind from Malegaon Assembly Constituency. While talking to the media in Malegaon, Akhilesh Yadav also said that the demand of Samajwadi Party for 12 seats in Mahavikas Aghadi is right. Samajwadi Party will win the maximum seats in Maharashtra.

Indirect message to Mahavikas Aghadi

All three major parties are trying to win maximum seats in Mahavikas Aghadi (Akhilesh Yadav announced four candidates). Left party Shekap has asked for seats from Mahavikas Aghadi, but there is discussion that they will be fielded on one or two seats only. Samajwadi Party is also not likely to get more seats.
