Thirteen passengers were burnt alive in a horrific collision between a private bus and a tipper near Rayavaram in the early hours of Thursday. The accident was so horrific that as soon as the collision took place, both the vehicles exploded and caught fire, due to which the passengers did not even get a chance to recover.

Screams and orgy of death in the silence of the morning

According to the information, this tragic incident happened between 6:00 and 6:30 in the morning. When a private bus going from Hyderabad to Pamuru reached the sharp turn of Palala mines near Raivaram, a speeding tipper coming from the front hit it hard. The collision was so severe that within no time the bus was engulfed in flames. At the time of the accident, there were more than 40 passengers in the bus, who were in deep sleep.

Saved his life by jumping from the windows, the passengers sitting behind could not get out.

Eyewitnesses said that about 10-12 passengers sitting in the front part of the bus showed agility and saved their lives by jumping from the windows, although they were also injured. But the bus became a death trap for the passengers sitting on the rear seats. The fire spread so fast that the people sitting behind could not come out and were burnt to ashes inside the bus. The local people showed courage and immediately took the injured to the hospital and informed the police.

Tipper driver’s carelessness and high speed killed innocent people

Initial investigation and eyewitness statements have revealed that the main reason for the accident was the unruly speed of the tipper driver. Due to high speed at the turn, the driver lost control and hit the bus directly in front. By the time the fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control, the bus and tipper had turned into iron skeletons. Police suspect that most of the dead were residents of Kanigiri area.

Chief Minister expressed grief, ordered strict investigation

As soon as the news of the accident was received, Markapuram MLA Kandula Narayana Reddy reached the spot and took stock of the relief operations. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed deep grief over this heartbreaking incident. He has asked the officials to provide proper treatment to the injured and provide all possible assistance to the families of the deceased. The Chief Minister has instructed the administration to conduct a detailed investigation of the incident and submit a report. Officials fear that the death toll may rise further due to seriously burnt passengers.
