According to media reports, the name of the accused is being told as Guru Murthy. Guru Murthy used to have disputes with his wife every day. It is believed that when the dispute escalated, he committed this horrific act. The accused works as a security guard in the local center of DRDO.
Apart from this, the accused has served in the army. Where he was working as a guard after retirement. The family had lodged a missing report of his deceased wife Venkat Madhavi with the police on January 16.
In this case, the police investigated from different angles and only when Gurumurthy was strictly interrogated, he confessed to his crime. Not only this, the accused confessed that after killing his wife, he boiled her body parts in a pressure cooker.
He did this so that the smell of decomposition does not come from the dead body and his horrific crime does not come to light in front of the world. Police Inspector Nagaraju said that the woman's parents had lodged a missing complaint. Her husband also came with her. When the husband was suspected in this matter, he was interrogated. After showing strictness, he confessed everything.
