New Delhi: Show business is an industry where cases of casting couch and inappropriate behaviour come to the fore on a regular absis. While most of these harrowing acts remain hidden, there are times when courageous artists come forward to reveal these shocking incidents to the world. Actress Sayani Gupta recently shared one such experience where an actor continued an intimate scene with her even after the director had called ‘cut’.
In a conversation with Radio Nasha, the 39-year-old diva disclosed that she has experienced a situation where her co-star lingered on a kiss even after the scene had ended. She stated that such acts are often subtle but amount to indecent behaviour.
Further discussing intimate scenes, Sayani expressed gratitude that the role of an intimacy coordinator has finally been introduced in India. She mentioned that intimate scenes are the easiest to perform because they are technical in nature. However, she also added that some individuals take advantage of these situations.

On the professional front, Sayani is currently promoting her recently released film Khwaabon Ka Jhamela. The romantic comedy premiered on an OTT platform on November 8, 2024. Directed by Danish Aslam, the movie also stars Prateik Babbar, Kubbra Sait, Lillete Dubey, Kaizaad Kotwal and Danish Husain in pivotal roles. It was produced under the banner of Jio Studios and Baweja Studios.
The storyline of Khwaabon Ka Jhamela follows a young man who is rejected by his fiancée. He then embarks on a solo trip, where he unexpectedly meets an intimacy coordinator, leading to a series of intriguing twists and turns.
