Akshay had completed his intermediate studies from a reputed missionary school in the city in the year 2022. However, Akshay’s dreams were completely different from his father’s thoughts. Instead of becoming a doctor, he wanted to become a big business tycoon. This ideological difference created such a wall of tension inside the house, the consequences of which were horrifying.

The six-page ‘suicide note’-like letter and the attempt to escape

A few days before the murder, Akshay had locked his father in the house and ran away. He sent a message through a friend that he was leaving home and left a six-page letter on the table. Expressing his frustration in that letter, Akshay had written that, “One cannot become a big man just by doing pathology, my words are not being accepted so I am leaving, now I will return only after becoming a big man.” Although his father caught him from the railway station and brought him back home after persuasion, the fire of hatred continued to burn in Akshay’s mind.

The crime was carried out with complete planning: saw, acid and rifle

The revelations made during police interrogation are like the script of a horror movie. Akshay was planning this murder for a long time.

• 19 February: Akshay bought a saw from the market and hid it under his bed. He also arranged for a large quantity of acid.
• 20 February: Akshay shot his father Manvendra Singh with his licensed rifle.
• Limits of brutality: After the murder, he started cutting his father’s body into pieces. The torso was wrapped in a sheet and put in a blue drum kept in the basement, while attempts were made to separate the arms, legs and other parts.

He kept dismembering his father’s dead body in front of his innocent sister. Police recovered 20 liters of acid during the search of the house. The accused’s plan was to put the body in acid and suffocate it completely so that no evidence remains.
