Shooting of one scene took place from morning to evening.

In a conversation with ‘The Hollywood Reporter India’, Prithviraj talked about the perfectionist attitude of the film’s director SS Rajamouli. Recalling a scene he shot with Mahesh Babu, he said that it took a whole day to shoot because Rajamouli was not satisfied with it. Recalling that experience, the actor said that this is not an exaggeration. He said, “Mahesh Babu and I started shooting in the morning for a particular shot in the film. I don’t remember for sure whether it was the 94th take or the 97th. After several hours of shooting, the team went on a lunch break, but this break did not last long. When we felt that we were just about to take another bite of food, he called us back to the set. The shooting continued till around 6.30 or 7 in the evening. Even after this, Rajamouli was not satisfied and the actors They were told to come the next day and shoot the scene again.”

Rajamouli used to reach the set first

In this film, Prithviraj is playing the role of ‘Kumbha’, a dangerous villain who lives in a wheelchair. He described Rajamouli as the hardest working director he has ever worked with. Talking about Rajamouli’s routine on the set, Prithviraj said that director Rajamouli often reached there several hours before the arrival of the actors. By the time I, Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra reached for the shooting at 7 in the morning, everything was ready. He told that Rajamouli would reach there at 5.15 in the morning and make preparations.

When will ‘Varanasi’ be released?

‘Varanasi’ directed by SS Rajamouli is being made on a large scale. However, people are still just guessing about the story of the film because it has been kept under wraps till now.
