Tezzbuzz Desk – South superstar Prabhas is going through the busiest phase of his career these days. On one hand he has many big films lined up, on the other hand his recent release The Raja Saab did not perform as expected at the box office. However, even after this setback, Prabhas has not slowed down his pace.

Big project started between ‘Spirit’ and ‘Fauji’

After ‘The Raja Saab’, Prabhas started working on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Spirit. At the same time, Hanu Raghavapudi’s film ‘Fauji’ is also said to be ready for release this year. Amidst all this, now another big news has come out, work on the sequel of Kalki 2898 AD has started.

Amitabh Bachchan confirms ‘Kalki 2’

On February 23, Amitabh Bachchan confirmed through his blog that the shooting of ‘Kalki 2’ has started. He wrote that he was busy shooting in Hyderabad, hence could not meet fans outside his house on Sunday.

In the blog, Big B also shared some glimpses from the set, in which he was seen in the role of Ashwatthama. The special thing was that during this time he also met Kamal Haasan.

Together again after ‘arrest’

Amitabh Bachchan wrote that working with Kamal Haasan again is a special experience. Both the veteran actors were earlier seen together in Arrest. Now both will share the screen once again in ‘Kalki 2’.

Kamal Haasan’s character ‘Supreme Yaskin’ was seen for a limited time in the first part, but his character will be presented in full detail in the sequel. It is being told that this time the role of the villain in the story will come out in a more powerful and dangerous manner.

New entry in place of Deepika?

Deepika Padukone was in an important role in the first part, but according to reports she will not be a part of the sequel. There is talk of Sai Pallavi’s entry in her place, although official confirmation on this is yet to be done.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ had created a record by earning more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide. In such a situation, the expectations of the audience from ‘Kalki 2’ have increased even more.
