Shoresy Season 6: Latest updates on renewal status, release date, cast news and plot
There has been much anticipation for the Canadian comedy series Shoresy, which offers a unique and raw overview of the rough and tumble world of hockey in small-town sports rivalries from the perspective of the foul-mouthed, hard-hitting enforcer Shoresy and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs hockey club. Fans are reeling from all the wildly inappropriate banter, outrageous team behaviours, and genuine friendships between teammates developed in the heart of every team’s locker room following Season 5’s incredible success and touching moments (a season filled with successes and poignant experiences) during the NHL game’s 2025-2026 season.
Shoresy Season 6: Latest updates on Renewal status
In January 2026, Cravers renewed Shoresy for its sixth seasonand Hulu announced US viewers would have the opportunity to watch Season 5, as well as offer new Seasons 7-8 soon after, along with an invitation for other programmers to pick up new seasons, subject to some conditions. Shoresy was viewed by more people this season than ever before, breaking several million viewers during the first episode. The recent ratings from ISPs indicate that episode one has received 19% higher viewership over the previous four seasons combined, making Shoresy one of the top 5 shows on Cravers in rating, surpassing even Grey’s Anatomy. Cravers has also announced that Shoresy will compete with Grey’s Anatomy and will premiere together each Saturday evening. To that end, Shoresy will count as a major accomplishment for Cravers.

Shoresy Season 6: Latest updates on plot
Due to pre-production not having started yet, we cannot provide much information about Season 6 regarding plot details. However, we do know that it will continue the story of Shoresy and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs as they navigate the crazy, trash-talking world of senior hockey. The last few seasons of Producers have provided strong comedic elements surrounding the Bulldogs as they have battled against various issues (like protecting North American hockey during Season 5) while producing over-the-top comedic performances, rivalries between players, and hilarious hockey moments.
At this point, there are no known details regarding the plots of Season 6, but speculation based on interviews with cast members (Tasya Teles, for example) indicates that Season 6 will explore themes of team dynamics, changes to leadership, and how all the changes from previous seasons will impact future events. Based on this information, we think the comedy remains intact and will continue into Season 6.
In terms of availability, the first four seasons are available for streaming through Hulu in the U.S., and Season 5 is available through Crave in Canada. The U.S. premiere of Season 5 occurred on February 21, 2016. Fans will want to keep an eye out for more announced production details as they become available through Jared Keeso, Crave, and Hulu, as production moves forward toward the end of this year!
