Deadly bowling by 22 year old Madhav Tiwari, brilliant fifty by Shreyas-Priyansh, Punjab gave the target of 211 runs to Delhi.

IPL 2026: The 55th match of the Indian Premier League 2026 is being played between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. Delhi Capitals won the toss and decided to bowl first. After which, batting first, Punjab Kings scored 210 runs for 5 wickets.

Priyansh Arya played a stormy inning of 56 runs.

Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya started the innings of Punjab Kings. Both of them gave a good start to the team, but then Mukesh Kumar replaced Prabhsimran Singh. Prabhsimran was out after scoring 18 runs on 15 balls. During this period he hit only 3 fours. After this, Priyansh Arya was out after playing a brilliant innings. Madhav Tiwari sent him to the pavilion. Priyansh played an inning of 56 runs in 33 balls, which included 2 fours and 3 sixes.

Mitchell Starc dismissed Stoinis and Shashank Singh in the same over.

Punjab Kings got the third blow in the form of Cooper Connolly. Madhav Tiwari also made him his victim. Cooper Connolly scored 38 runs on 27 balls. After this, in the very next over i.e. 18th over, Mitchell Starc broke the back of Delhi Capitals’ batting by taking 2 consecutive wickets. On the first ball, Starc sent Marcus Stoinis to the pavilion on the score of 1 run. Then he made Shashank Singh his victim on the very next ball. Shashank could not even open an account.

Shreyas Iyer and Suryansh Shedge played stormy innings

Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten till the end and returned unbeaten after scoring 59 runs on 36 balls. During this he hit 5 fours and 3 sixes. while the Suryansh Shedge played an unbeaten inning of 21 runs in just 8 balls and took Punjab’s score beyond 200.

22 year old Madhav Tiwari bowled lethally for Delhi Capitals.

22 year old Madhav Tiwari bowled brilliantly for Delhi Capitals. He took 2 wickets for 40 runs in a spell of 4 overs. Mitchell Marsh also took 2 wickets but gave away 57 runs. Mukesh Kumar got a success.
