After this, Team India did consistently well in this format and won the T20 World Cup in 2024 and 2026. When the Indian team started the England tour, they had a total of 275 rating points. After losing the series 2-0 against Ireland, Team India’s rating points dropped to 272. While the first match against England was called off due to rain, Team India’s rating points have now reached 269 after losing three matches in a row. On the other hand, England have scored 267 points with consecutive wins. So, if one more match is lost, the top position of Team India will be in danger.
